Mr. Symms is a former United States Senator from State of Idaho, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho. After serving three years in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Symms rejoined his family business in Caldwell, Idaho. Mr. Symms was elected to the United States House of Representatives from 1972 to 1980, and to the United States Senate from 1980 to 1992. As a Senator, Mr. Symms served on the Finance, Armed Services, and Environment and Public Works Committees. During his years of public service, Sen. Symms was the recipient of many awards. Mr. Symms is a partner in Parry, Romani, DeConcini & Symms, a highly successful Washington, D.C. political consulting firm.
