The First Annual PanAmerica Capital Group Golf Invitational!!
The first annual PanAmerica Capital Group Invitational, which took place in Panama city's exclusive Club de Golf, was a smashing success!! Not only was it the first event of this kind sponsored by PanAmerica Capital Group, it was said by many to be the most entertaining, fun, and enjoyable golf tournament to have ever taken place at the exclusive Club de Golf! Golfers of all nationalities came together for this event to relax, have fun, and network.
Located in the beautiful city of Panama, the Club de Golf is one of the oldest and best courses in Latin America. Conceived shortly after the Panama Armistice was signed, the club became a refuge within Panama for those who enjoyed the sport. Panama's lush climate combined with age old golf tradition come together to make this course unique and a real treat to play.
In 2005 the PGA began hosting a Nationwide tour event at the Club de Golf which was the first PGA event to be hosted in Panama since 1982. The January 2005 Nationwide Event in Panama helped to launch the career of budding superstar Miguel Carballo of Colombia.
