Update Individual Account

Mandatory Update

By Panamanian Law, the CNV (Comision Nacional de Valores) requires that all Client Accounts be reviewed and updated annually. Refer to Regulation No. 5-2006.

The signature on the IDs must match with the signature on all forms. Please verify for consistency.
Please submit original documents for processing to PanAmerica Capital Group's offices.

Account Update

  • PCG Individual Account Application Form: update information on pages 1 and 2 for principal owner and for each additional owner. It can be submitted by phone, fax, electronic or regular mail. Change of address need signed Letter of Authorization

For each account owner, update the following documentation:

  • FATCA Form - Individual
  • Identification documents - Update Client's IDs when expired
  • One letter of professional reference (preferably from your employer, attorney or accountant)
  • One letter of financial reference from your bank or brokerage institution.
  • Copy of Income Tax Declaration (if available)

Additional Information Required

  • IRS W-8BEN Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner (Individuals): signed by President, Secretary or Legal Representative (expires every three years)

Voluntary Update

  • Change of Address: Client must submit a signed Letter of Authorization

To add or remove Account Owners for Joint Accounts

  • Letter of Authorization to Add or Remove Person in a Join Account Form.
  • PCG Individual Account Application Form
  • FATCA Form – Individual
  • Joint Account Agreement signed by all parties.

For each new account owner, the following documentation is required:

  • Letter of Authorization to Add or Remove Person in a Joint Account Form
  • One letter of professional reference (preferably from your employer, attorney or accountant)
  • One letter of financial reference from your bank or brokerage institution
  • Copy of most recent utility or telephone bill or PCG Client Visit Report to confirm physical address
  • Copy of Income Tax Declaration (if available)
  • IRS W-8BEN Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner (Individuals): signed by President, Secretary or Legal Representative (expires every three years)
